I can’t believe it’s November already! The hustle and bustle of the holiday season is upon us, but as I am running around town I am seeing Christmas stuff everywhere and have been for a while now. It seems like in our fast pace materialistic lifestyle we have completely forgotten Thanksgiving. It’s so easy to get caught up in this world and all our problems, but I would like to encourage all of you to focus on giving thanks this month.
Psalm 107:1 says….Oh give thanks to The Lord, for he is good, his steadfast love endured forever!
We should be focusing on praising our Father and giving him thanks for all he is doing! So as you go about your busy days remember this verse…
Whatever you do in word or in deed, do it all in the name of The Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father -Colossians 3:27.
We are thankful for everything God is doing in Chrysalis. Please remember to be in prayer for Kim Smith as she gets her team ready for the next girls journey coming up January 9th. Also please don’t forget about our 3rd Annual Prime Rib Fundraiser on December 14th. It will be held at the Animal Science Building at Texas Tech 5:00 p.m- 9:00 p.m. This is a wonderful time of fellowship and food. We have tickets on sale now for $20 and all of the money goes straight to our scholarship fund. Please come out and show your support for Chrysalis and help send other young people on a walk!
